No freaking way! I watched this for my Spanish class too and was super confused! It is really well made though, and I contemplated showing it here. You just beat me to it!
Nina que espera or The Girl That Waits/Hopes
I had to watch this short film for Spanish this week and I thought it would be worth posting. The twist wasn’t exactly what I expected, although I did expect the two strangers the girl adopts as her parents to hook it up by the end. After watching it the first time I actually thought the girl was a phantom homesick abortion with the creepy close-ups of the baby’s face after the labor scene, but by the credits I was relieved to find out it was a Back to the Future type deal where the girl somehow goes back in time to set up the parents. Anyway, thought it would be worth the look.
